Briefly Noted

Members of SIPAZ (Servicio Internacional Para la Paz), an international coalition committed to supporting the peace process in Chiapas, Mexico, recently returned from a second delegation to the region where they continued their work on the development of the peace process there.

SIPAZ extends a special invitation to faith-based organizations to join their call for a nonviolent solution to the crisis in Chiapas. The organization is also seeking long-term volunteers to serve in Chiapas who are willing to commit to at least one year, are fluent in Spanish, and have experience in Latin America or community organizing.
