Prayer of the Day: Immigrants

Break our hearts, Lord, for the injustice and oppression that occur even within our own countries, particularly against immigrants who come seeking a better life for themselves and their families. May we be wise and responsible stewards of the resources and opportunities that we have been given, and speak up for and stand with those who do not have the possibilities we often take for granted. We will give you no rest until you move in power and in justice, God. Amen.
