AS FANS OF BOB DYLAN, we read with interest Karen Lattea's review of Good As I Been to You in the May issue ("Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan: Unabashed"). We appreciate Sojourners' interest in such individuals who maintain an ongoing, artistic, and interesting commentary on life in this half of the 20th century. Perhaps we misinterpreted Lattea's use of the quote from "Hard Times" as an attribution to Dylan. In fact, the gentleness revealed in "Hard Times" is that of Stephen Collins Foster, penned in 1854 (copyrighted 1855).
