Prayer Power

AFTER READING the report on the Gang Summit ("A Time to Heal, A Time to Build") in the August 1993 issue, I was so excited I could not sleep. It brought tears to my eyes! Now--Oh God, let it come to fruition.

I pray that persistence and perseverance brought by the spirit of God be in each heart. Let this spirit be so strong and so overwhelming that it can overcome any diversity that blocks the path. May God pour out [God's] spirit on the "turning" gang members, let it grow and grow and permeate the spirit of evil divisiveness, of separation from God until churches, religious organizations, our government, and all of us are alerted and will add our help to the cause.
