About The Event

In-Person

Rev. Moya Harris, Director of Racial Justice at Sojourners will be the keynote lunch speaker on September 20, 2024 at the Conscience and Justice Council Annual Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. She will be speaking on Christian Nationalism and Privilege - Threats to Democracy.

Religious extremism masquerading as genuine faith poses an ongoing risk to democratic principles and individual freedoms. Today's peril, as seen in Christian Nationalism in America, presents an opportunity to strengthen the bond between spiritual convictions and social justice. This election season calls for increased civic engagement that respects human dignity and promotes inclusivity for all members of society.
