Equal Rights Amendment Now - Join our campaign!

Advocate for a world where the image of God in each human is given equal respect and opportunity in the church and under the law. The Equal Rights Amendment is a proposed amendment to the U.S. constitution that guarantees equality based on sex. The ERA addresses systemic sexism by promoting equal pay for equal work and by protecting women and LGBTQ individuals’ safety and livelihoods against discrimination and from gender-based violence. Take action to add the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the U.S. Constitution.

Tell Congress: Support the Equal Rights Amendment

The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) will ensure the U.S. Constitution protects people from discrimination on the basis of their sex. After 100 years of advocacy, we are one step away from finally seeing the ERA ratified. Congress has the power to remove the deadline for approving the amendment set nearly 50 years ago and add the ERA to the U.S. Constitution.

As Christians, we are called to treat each person as image bearers of God. We seek to protect and promote the inherent human dignity and worth of each person regardless of sex, gender, or orientation. The ERA reflects and promotes this value by guaranteeing equal treatment under the law. Let us put our faith into action to make the ERA the law of the land. Ask your senators to support the ERA by voting to remove the ERA deadline.
