Your Comments (and a Great Sermon) on the Economic Crisis

In case you missed it ... The conversations that ensue from any post I write vary widely in their civility and productivity. "A Pastoral Strategy for an Economic Crisis" certainly stood out.

EricHS put it like this...

I read through most of the comments posted, and it's such an intelligent and thoughtful conversation. There are actually ideas being exchanged. Notably absent are the usual bomb-throwing commenters from both the left and the right that comment so often on other places on this blog. How pleasant.

At the very bottom of all the comments, a brief exchange took place that I would like to highlight. Mary1943 had the following to say:

I would love to comment, but to be very honest I am so overflowing with great distain and disappointment in the church community that I don't even know where to start
