So, just to get it out of the way, I didn't get what I wanted for Christmas. No, not an iPad or world peace. Anyone who knows me well knows that what I really wanted for Christmas was a brand new back since mine is wrecked. The disk between my L5 and S1 vertebrae is severely degenerated which means at the age of 41, I can't stand for more than 20 minutes without being in pain. I mention this because in the gospel of John we hear that, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. ... And the Word became flesh and lived among us."
