A week has passed since more than 200,000 supporters of immigration reform rallied on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for March FOR America: Change Takes Courage and Faith. The effects of the march are still being felt: on a personal level, as some of us reflect individually on the significance of the event; on a communal level, as faith communities continue to stand with and advocate for the immigrants among them; and on a government level, as even political leaders begin to take note. This past weekend, thousands more marched through the streets of Los Angeles to demonstrate their support.
You can see a selection of pictures from last week here; and here's a video recap of the event from our friends at Reform Immigration FOR America.
