Still Hungry

This weekend I found myself irritable, tired, and hungry. Not hungry for food, but with an ache in my spirit. A burdensome kind of discontent not easily soothed by quick fixes.

In retrospect, my faith practices these past few weeks weren't too different than most weeks: devotions, prayers with colleagues, serving at a local ministry, and attending church. So why the spiritual malaise?

The answer hit me on my third mini-Snickers from the post-Halloween stash
