Social Justice Christians at White House Easter Prayer Breakfast

By Jim Wallis 4-07-2010

Yesterday morning, President Obama hosted an Easter prayer breakfast for a group of church leaders at the White House. A lot of Sojourners friends and partners were there: a diverse mix of Christian leaders committed to social justice (Beck alert!). The room was full of Christians for "social justice" just as Glenn Beck has warned us about -- they were sitting at the same tables with or near the president, and clearly having an influence on him! I'm told the Fox celebrity has me up on his blackboard again this week. I thought you might like to see the brief remarks the president made about his faith and ours.
