Prayer of the Day: Running in Hopeful joy

God of mercy, we pray for the passion to seek Christ's healing presence in our lives. We pray for the Holy Spirit to shape our hearts, keeping us from judgmental grumbling at the conversion of those who might be most in need of God's forgiveness and grace. May we run with hopeful joy to meet your Son each day of our lives, making room in our hearts for his sanctifying presence. Amen.
