Prayer of the Day: Poverty

Almighty God, we long for the day when poverty and injustice will be no more. Bless those who are currently living in poverty or in the shadows of injustice. Fill their stomachs and quench their thirst. Break the chains of injustice and oppression, that those who have been crippled by unfair laws, policies, and practices will be set free. Amen.
