Prayer of the Day: Persecuted Church

We thank you, gracious God, for the freedom we have to practice and live out our faith. We pray for our brothers and sisters around the world who do not have that freedom, for our fellow Christians who find themselves persecuted for seeking to follow you. Strengthen with courage, with discernment, with faith, and help us not only to do what we can to aid them, but to learn what we can from them. Make us more and more aware of your body--the Church, Lord Jesus. Amen.
