Prayer of the Day: Immigrants

Once again, God, we come to you--like the persistent widow--to cry out to you for justice, for shalom, for your kingdom to come and your will to be done on earth as in heaven. We pray especially for our immigrant brothers and sisters, and in particular for those who are separated from their families. May your justice roll down like mighty waters and your righteousness like an everflowing stream. And may we see a reform of our immigration system that values and honors every person as your child.
