God of the journey, watch over those who move to make a better life for themselves and their families. Just as you did not hesitate to send your Son for our sakes, may you protect those who make sacrifices for the sake of their loved ones. As we read in scripture, you watched over your people whenever they traveled; do likewise for the travelers among us today. Amen.
