Prayer of the Day: For the Hungry

God, we pray for the children who die from hunger every day. We pray for wisdom for government leaders who are seeking effective means to address the food crisis. We pray for greater efforts to urge Congress to expand programs that address hunger, child nutrition, and agricultural development, to eradicate child hunger worldwide. And we pray for your guidance in showing us how we can help others to break the cycle of hunger. Amen.
