Prayer of the Day: Health Care

We thank you, Healing Lord Jesus, that millions of poor and uninsured will now have access to health insurance. We pray for wisdom and integrity for our leaders, first for the Senate as they take on the House legislative fixes this week, and second for the various administrations and parties on all levels that will have a hand in the implementation of this new policy. And may we, in our own lives and in the lives of our churches and communities, continue to do what we can to minister to those you called "the least of these." In your name, Jesus, amen.
