Prayer of the Day: Haiti #3

Even as we are affected by the images we see coming out of Haiti, we think of those who are there now. Give courage and fortitude to those who are experiencing the devastation in Haiti firsthand, to those who are on the ground engaged in search and rescue operations, to the medical staff who are engaged in treating the wounded, to those who are trying desperately to find their families and loved ones. Watch over them, gracious God, and keep them safe: mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. In the name of Jesus, who himself knew what it was to suffer and grieve, amen.
