God of mercy, we continue to lift up the people and country of Haiti. We ask that your presence would be with those who have lost loved ones and homes; we ask that your presence would be with those Haitians who are in other places around the world, uncertain of the fate of their families and friends; we ask that your presence would be with those who have gone to assist and to keep peace: for doctors, for nurses, for rescue and aid agencies, for the military who are seeking to help keep the peace. Bring your rescue, Lord; bring it soon and bring it swiftly. Amen.
