Bradenton Herald: Minister Decries FFA’s Attack on Muslim Show (Sojo Mention)
The Florida Family Association has vehemently attacked the show, “All-American Muslim,” a reality show on TLC that follows several Muslim families in Dearborn, Mich. The Florida Family Association has also asked all major retailers to pull their ads from the show, effectively pushing for its cancellation.

Some of Alabama's church leaders are asking the governor to repeal the state's immigration law.  In a letter to the governor, they wrote that short of repeal, they pray that the governor will work toward revisions in what they say is an unjust and unfair law.

The congressional impasse over extending the payroll tax cut became a showdown Tuesday between President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner. After the Republican-controlled House passed a measure calling for more negotiations, Boehner made public a letter to Obama that urged him to order the Senate back from its holiday break to take part in further talks.
