About The Event
This fall, Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being reconvenes our 'Just for Kids' Community Conversations. This series brings national thought leaders to the region in forums designed to activate change for children and families. Conversations bring insight on matters aligned with Deaconess Foundation's policy agenda and equip participants with tools for action. Each event includes a networking breakfast available at 8:15 am, program beginning at 9:00 am and concluding by 11:00 am.
Monday, December 9: Faith-Inspired Social Action with Rev. Jim Wallis
Rev. Wallis will be discussing his new book, Christ in Crisis, and the ways in which Jesus' teachings speak directly to the heart of our political and moral crises.
