Melanie Foust is the Donor Services Assistant for Sojourners. As such, she manages the donor records of the Sustainers Circle, Sojourner's faithful monthly supporters.
Her interest in non-profit work was piqued while completing a bachelor's degree in Business Management at Asbury University. She has worked/volunteered for causes including community development, mission mobilization, and child poverty alleviation. At Sojourners, Melanie is learning to fully live in the crucial intersection of faith and justice. She finds hope in verses like Psalm 85:10-11.
Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys attempting to play the mandolin, writing letters to dear friends, and taking walks to think. She is never happier than when spending time with people she loves.
