I JUST READ Molly Marsh’s article "Breaking Down the Walls" (May-June 2000) on how many organizations are striving to make peace present in Israel and in the occupied West Bank and Gaza. When I visited Israel and Bethlehem in 1998, I was saddened by the truth of how people are forced to live there. My prayers are ever for a daily real peace amongst the peoples of Israel and Palestine. As your story proves, it will take committed individuals from all walks of life to band together and make things change for the good of all human beings in that land.
