ROSE MARIE BERGER'S article on Dorothy Day's eventual canonization ("Don't Call Me a Saint!" July-August 2000) delighted me. Day has been one of my intercessors in heaven. Even my getting a copy of Sojourners came from her. St. John Macias, O.P., did not have the usual "healing" or medical miracle for his canonization; his miracle was the feeding of orphans in the midst of a famine-stricken area.
