I read with great interest the article about the homeschooling parents who found themselves among the conservative Christian homeschooling culture (“When Them is Us,” by Danny Duncan Collum, September-October 2005). What struck—not to mention impressed—me was its tone. In recent years, even in the church, the dialogue between conservative and liberal has degraded to a low that shames us as a society and is especially inexcusable among those of us who represent Christ to the world. But here I have come upon a writer with whom I share few political views, but feel strongly that I could both count as a friend and as a true brother in Christ. Wesley Winslette
