Close Call

SOMEHOW I ALMOST let my Sojourners subscription lapse. How ironic that the July-August 2000 issue is one of the best I have ever read—excellent from cover to cover! I especially appreciated the update on Africa and AIDS, the article on Dorothy Day, the 2054 article, the review of Barry Moser’s illustrated Bible, and the heart-rending piece from prison by Raymond Williams. God bless you all, and keep up the work! Needless to say, as soon as I finished reading the issue, I wrote a renewal check and put it in the mailbox!

WE WANT TO HEAR from you! Write to "Letters," Sojourners, 2401 15th St. NW, Washington, DC 20009; fax (202) 328-8757. E-mail: sojourners@sojourners.com. Please include your name, address, and daytime phone number. Letters may be edited for space and clarity.
