Can I Get That in Forest Green?

Tired of the clear-cut lumber you get at Home Depot and Lowe's? The Canadian Eco-Lumber Co-op lets you feel good about your wood. "The Eco-Lumber Co-op is about offering choice," explains executive director Cam Brewer, who co-founded the project. "We support forest managers who practice ecoforestry, architects and developers who choose sustainable materials, and consumers who buy eco-certified wood products. Together, these choices add up to a sustainable future for all of us."

Products available from the Eco-Lumber Co-op are made from wood that is either certified as being harvested in an ecologically sustainable manner by the Forest Stewardship Council or that has been reclaimed from demolished buildings. With a showroom and warehouse in Vancouver, B.C., Canadians and others around the world can order environmentally friendly lumber, wood products, and furniture online at competitive prices and have it delivered to their doors.
