Trickle Up Theory

IN RONALD SIDER’S excellent article, "Do We Care Enough? A Biblical Strategy for Empowering the Poor" (September-October 1999), he overlooked the fact that a growing proportion of our nation’s wealth is in the hands of large corporations—corporations that day-by-day are getting larger. In that this article is but one chapter of Sider’s book (Just Generosity: A New Vision for Overcoming Poverty in America, Baker Book House, 1999), maybe he speaks to this fact in another chapter.
