Kris Parker, better known as hip-hop legend KRS-One (which stands for Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone), left his job at Warner Bros. to work with 13- to 16-year-old boys at New York City's famous Riverside Church. Riverside's Pathfinderz ministry and Parker's Temple of Hip-Hop Kulture have joined forces to help boys stay on the righteous path and discover their strength in God and in themselves. "I'm delighted that Kris will be working with us on the Pathfinderz project," said Rev. Mariah Britton, Riverside's Youth Ministry director. "He's a devoted Christian and well-studied historian who brings a lot to the table, onstage and off." Parker also is organizing a youth concert series called "Spirit Move," celebrating youth who do the right thing.
