About The Event

Join University UMC and Sojourners’ President Jim Wallis for an evening discussion on how the teachings of Jesus speak directly to the heart of our political and moral crises. As a part of UUMC’s visiting authors series, Jim Wallis will be discussing his new book Christ in Crisis: Why We Need to Reclaim Jesus, which analyzes eight key questions that were central to Jesus’ ministry and are still timely for us today. Please join us for this critical conversation about how faith impacts our engagement with public life, and how Jesus’ teachings inform a faithful engagement with political and spiritual darkness.

The event is free and open to the public, and copies of Wallis' new book will be available for purchase and signing.
