We recognize the image of God in all people, and we seek to increase opportunities for everyone to access the resources they need to live in sufficiency and dignity, rather than scarcity and oppression. Racism, privilege, and injustice are sins, and they cripple the image of God in human beings. Salvation and justice restore it.

Especially on issues of importance to the faith community, we should encourage bipartisan cooperation that seeks justice and mercy for families, communities, and those otherwise marginalized across our nation.
