Verse of the day
Evil brings death to the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.

Voice of the day
People who treat other people as less than human must not be surprised when the bread they have cast on the waters comes floating back to them, poisoned.
Prayer of the day
You promise to redeem the life of those who are treated as less than human. May we take refuge in you, knowing that you are the God of justice and righteousness.
