“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’”

Voice of the day
Whatever “goodness” is to you/your community, trust and believe that unless you practice a very clear-eyed accountability, abusers will learn to imitate the language of that “goodness” in ways that effectively disguise abusive behavior as moral and upstanding.
Prayer of the day
May our communities be spaces that protect people from abuses of power; may we not see accountability as antithetical to forming a community but as a core part of it.
