Voice of the day
Good writing … cuts us open. It exposes, in a beautiful twist, the reader as much as the author. And the best writing, following the incision, knits us back together more truly, more fully healed in some way.
Prayer of the day
Thank you, Lord, for the gift of stories. What a balm and joy it is to be cut and knit back together by good writing.
