We must use our lives to make the world a better place to live, not just to acquire things. That is what we are put on the earth for.
Prayer of the day
Lord, we ask that you remove all traces of greed and selfishness from our hearts. Let us remember that the gifts and blessings that you have given us are not for our gain, but your glory. May we seek to use the gifts and blessing you have bestowed upon us to help others.
