According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building on it. Each builder must choose with care how to build on it.

The point of our resistance isn’t to achieve a perfect abstention and become morally pure; the point is to collaborate with God in material change toward justice.
Prayer of the day
Lord, may we see our resistance work as building upon and collaborating with the foundation you have set for justice.
