Ryan McQuade

Ryan McQuade is a multimedia graphic designer at Sojourners. He first worked with Sojourners as an illustrator, designing for several issues before joining the team in May 2024. With a background in creating art that unifies liberatory politics and Christian devotional imagery, Ryan is passionate about bringing more Christians into the movement for prison abolition and queer liberation. He specializes in print design and editorial illustration, working on a wide range of projects, from book covers and picture-book design to digital publications. Outside of his professional work, Ryan deeply appreciates the art of tattooing and woodburning and finding new music to get into!
