Anne Grizzle

Anne got her B.S. in psychology and social relations from Harvard and masters in social work from Columbia University.  She has worked in Harlem with families at high risk of foster placement, in a church counseling practice, as a consultant to a homeless mission and in private practice with a focus on marriage therapy and grief work.  She is also a spiritual director, retreat leader, and author of three books and numerous articles, including Going Home Grown Up and Reminders of God.  She works with Amistad Mission serving the poor in Bolivia, is adjunct faculty with Shalem Institute for Spiritual Guidance, and chairs the mentoring community of Leighton Ford Ministries.  She and her husband are co-chairs of World Vision campaigns aimed at ending extreme poverty.  They have three sons and seven grandchildren and live in Washington, D.C.
