Today is “Trade Deadline Day” in Major League Baseball, and some crafty music lovers are having a field day imagining what the indie rock scene would look like if it had a “trade deadline” of its own. [Paste Magazine]

I stumbled upon this inspiring video today, where a 14-year-old kid interviews John Lennon in a hotel room in Toronto. While Lennon says some insightful things, and the accompanying animation is pretty mesmerizing, the nerve of this aspiring journalist is what struck me.
