The other night as I rode my bike up Massachusetts Ave. with my friend Jeehye, we came upon a man who was about to jump off a bridge. On the other side of the railings, he held on with his hands stretched out behind him. "Sir, what's going on?" I called out.

"I'm about to jump off this bridge -- that's what's going on
