One nerdy (and incredibly cool) fish owner transforms his aquarium into a full blown scene from Super Mario Brothers, including magic mushrooms, stairs, a castle, and Mario. [Geeks are Sexy]

Another summer-fused album is available to stream before its release later this month. Plug in the headphones and crank up the good vibes of the Vancouver, B.C. rock duo Japandroids. [NPR]

There’s nothing like a little natural music, made straight from the trees and vegetation that surround us. In celebration of Earth Day 2012, (yes, a bit late) one musical entrepreneur sets aside the synthesizers in exchange for some natural sounds made from fruit, nuts, plants, and even honey bees. It seems like video projection onto outdoor architecture is gaining a wide audience. Just recently there was Doug Aitken's "Song 1" at the Hirshorn Museuem in Washington D.C. and now the iconic shapes of Sydney Australia’s Opera House are transformed into an illuminating work, “Lighting of the Sails.”
