Rev. Jim Wallis on Today's Supreme Court Ruling on DACA, DAPA

Washington, DC - Rev. Jim Wallis, President and Founder of Sojourners, today issued the following statement on the Supreme Court's decision regarding President Obama's executive actions on DAPA, DACA:

"Our faith calls us to welcome the stranger. Today's Supreme Court decision on DACA/DAPA violates that call. The decision puts racialized partisan politics ahead of families.

"Every justice movement faces setbacks. What's critical is how we respond. We will take our anger and disappointment and turn it into action this November. 

"We will win comprehensive immigration reform, the death rattle of white supremacy notwithstanding."
