Jim Wallis, the prominent US author, activist and theologian together with his trailblazing theologian wife, Joy Carroll Wallis will be in KZN for a series of public events this month, hosted by Diakonia Council of Churches in Durban.

Wallis is a New York Times best selling author, public theologian, speaker, and international commentator on ethics and public life. He recently served on the White House Advisory Council on faith-based and neighbourhood partnerships and currently serves as the vice chair of the Global Agenda Council on Values of the World Economic Forum. He is president and founder of Sojourners, a ministry that uses biblical call to integrate spiritual renewal and social justice.
