When it comes to the issue of domestic violence, a recent study suggested that some Protestant pastors tend to avoid the issue.
A survey sponsored by IMA World Health and Sojourners and conducted by Christian-based LifeWay Research reached out to 1,000 Protestant senior pastors and found that 42 percent of them rarely or never speak about domestic violence and that 22 percent speak to their church about it once a year despite knowing people who are affected by the issue.
