Faith leaders condemn Trump nominations, vow to protect minorities

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Progressive groups say they are counting on Congress as they count down 37 more days until the Inauguration.
On Wednesday, a group of faith leaders urged lawmakers to reject some of President-elect Donald Trump's nominees, calling them bigots.
This coalition of faith leaders also vowed to protect undocumented immigrants and minority groups from policies proposed by Trump during his campaign.
“If you want to set up lines to register Muslim neighbors and citizens, we will be the first in line,” said political activist Jim Wallis.
