I wanted to say a special thank you for the last issue, "Down-to-Earth Theology" (March 2004), and make particular mention of Brian McLaren’s article, "Consider the Turtles of the Field." Brilliant! Rarely read such compressed wisdom! It is clear and insightful and provides a superb flavor of the way in which theological attitudes have shaped a Christian worldview, in terms of attitudes to stewarding creation as well as a host of related themes (community, ownership, power, consumption, etc.).
