Today is (apparently) National Dance like a Chicken Day… and if you’re not sure what that means, we’ll let the cast of Arrested Development demonstrate…

A group of elephants travel over 12 hours for a two-day vigil outside the home of conservationist and human friend Lawrence Anthony, also known as “The Elephant Whisperer.” Anthony, who spent his life living with and studying elephants, died in March. [CBC]

Some time back, Dotan Negrin took his upright piano across the world to play in a variety of odd locations. Now he’s back, pushing his piano down the streets of New York, playing tunes as he goes with his dog Brando. [Piano Across NYC]

A Ghostbusters tour of New York shows visitors all the film’s hot spots and even acts a few of the scenes out. [Neatorama]

A cyclist in Washington D.C. finds his stolen bicycle for sale on Craigslist and decides to take the law into his own hands by stealing it back himself. [Time]

Nick Veasey is a photographer who explores what the core of the natural world really looks like, in a series of beautiful X-Ray images of insects, plants, and aquatic life. [Visual Sundae]

This powerful (but sad) comic about women in the labor force combines data and drawings to tell a story of how women are affected in a male dominated workforce. [Truth Out]

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have reunited after nine years to release a new album of edgy American folk music. Listen to their latest cut, “She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain.” [NPR]
