In case you missed it ... The conversations that ensue from any post I write vary widely in their civility and productivity. "A Pastoral Strategy for an Economic Crisis" certainly stood out.

I read through most of the comments posted, and it's such an intelligent and thoughtful conversation. There are actually ideas being exchanged. Notably absent are the usual bomb-throwing commenters from both the left and the right that comment so often on other places on this blog. How pleasant.
