You know when people ask, ‘if you could host a dinner with any three people, who would they be?’ Stephen Colbert, Pope Francis, and Donald Trump is not a bad answer.

If you haven’t heard already, Pope Francis recently insinuated Donald Trump is “not Christian.”

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,” said Francis, after being asked on his way back from Mexico if a good Catholic can vote for Trump.

Trump responded by calling the Pope's words "disgraceful." But thankfully for these two celebrities, "America's foremost Catholic" has offered to "broker a peace" between the two. Colbert laid out his rationale on his late show.

“Mr. Trump, Mr. Pope (I believe that’s his formal name) is it possible that you’re fighting because you have so much in common?" said Colbert.

“After all, you both think you’re infallible … And you both wear very silly things on your heads.”
